Glamor! Glitz! Glizzies! We dreamt up an award show of our very own and showered our fans and collaborators with custom trophies celebrating their contributions to Clowndom. We also had a VIP Section on stage with a champage tower and a fried chicken buffet.

Hot on the trail of a humpback whale, we discovered a school of Clownfish near the ocean floor. We traversed the ocean blue in our Clown Submarine, met a mermaid, stayed hydrated, and covered a song by Styx. It was deeeeeeep.

It all started with a wild idea — what if we had a giant wheel on stage with all of our songs and brought people onto the stage to choose our set list over a 3 hour marathon ordeal?

We built a town. We filled it with people. We leaned in to the bit. There was a town newspaper, a contested election, a mad scientist, and the beginning of a deep narrative that followed us to all future shows.

Inimitable Mardi Gras icons Krewe De Lune has always been Down to Clown. This was an absolutely bonkers show, with a crowd of 2000+ revelers in full regalia.

Okay Bar has become our home base for the wildest, dive bar, pack the gills shows. It’s where we first realized that we were more than a cover band.

New Orleans’ Community Printshop’s annual Cover Band Show is a mainstay of the Downtown New Orleans Halloween experience. We planned to cover LCD Soundsystem. Karl said, “What if we called it LSD Clownsystem?” We all said it was a horrible idea. It still is.
